When it comes to a copy-and-paste scenario, many would automatically think of China. Well, get ready for in a surprise because North Korea just did something unexpected, a tech company called Ryonghung has manufactured a new tablet and it’s called - wait for it - Ryonghung iPad.
So what inspired the Ryonghung iPad? Apparently, the Supreme General, Young Master, Great Successor, Outstanding, Brilliant and Merciful North Korean Leader Kim Jong Unn happens to be an Apple Mac user. Also, it’s not the first time that copyright infringement has happened since many computers are using similar Apple logo, they can be spotted in a trade fair in Pyongyang. Can’t Apple sue them? Nope, because it’s North Korea, that’s why.
Just so you know, the Ryonghung iPad is nowhere near as powerful as the Apple iPad series. It is marketed as an entry level Android tablet featuring a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, a HDMI cable, a keyboard and internet connectivity. And that’s all the information we have, unfortunately, but don’t expect this to be release elsewhere.
