Previously, we reported that Nothing is confirmed to launch the Nothing Ear (2) on 22 March 2023. Well, we may not have to wait until the release date to know the specs and designs of the earbuds as they have been allegedly leaked.

In a collaboration between Steve Hemmerstoffer aka OnLeaks with The Tech Outlook, new renders of the Ear (2) show that it will retain the semi-transparent design of the Ear (1). Moreover, the case will also be transparent, as the only significant changes are the placement of the noise-cancelling microphone at the top of the earbuds’ stems.

Another change is of course the branding of the earbuds which now reads as “NOTHING ear (2)”. As for the specs, the earbuds are touted to feature 11.6mm speakers and hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) to reduce background noise effectively.

Besides that, the Ear (2) weighs 4.5g and has up to 36 hours of battery life with the case, up to 6 hours in a single playback, USB-C port, wireless charging and IP54 dust and water resistance. Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet.
