Tonight, Nothing will reveal its new open-ear earbuds but before that, it seems the render of the Nothing Ear (open) has been leaked online. A well-known German media site, WinFuture has shared all of the photos of what the designs look like.
As expected, the transparent-ish design of the Nothing Ear (open) is present but it looks like a normal Nothing Ear attached to the white curved band that was teased last week. Although it's not official yet, we can't be too surprised if this is what the final design looks like. At the same time, the render also looks like a fan-made mash-up design so do take it with a pinch of salt.

On top of that, the source also got some information on the tech specs. The Nothing Ear (open) could feature a 14.2 mm driver made out of titanium-coated polyethene terephthalate which is supposed to ensure optimal and clear bass reproduction. Nothing could also integrate its "Bass Enhance" algorithm for this occasion.
On the other hand, the Nothing Ear (open) could have a 64mAh battery in each earbud, while the charging case has a 635mAh additional battery. It is said that the open-ear earbuds could last up to eight hours of playback, or up to 30 hours with the charging case. Additionally, it could go on for six hours and 24 minutes (with the charging case) via a phone call.

Other than that, sources say we can expect touch control gestures on the exterior of the earbuds, dual connections are available via Bluetooth 5.3, AI-powered Clear Voice technology for network calls and a mode for ultra-low latency. The Nothing Ear (open) are splash-proof too with an IP54 water and dust resistance rating and support ChatGPT just like the latest Nothing Ear wearables.
The Nothing Ear (open) will be unveiled soon tonight via livestream at 9 PM, Malaysia time. Until then, stay tuned for our official news coverage at TechNave.com.
