After a long time, Nothing has stepped into the over?ear space with its debut Headphone?(1). Officially priced at $299 (~RM1.2K), more pre-order details will be available in Malaysia soon, but for now, here are the features that you should know.
A New Nothing Design
The Headphone (1) comes in black and white with transparent, retro-inspired ear cups with tactile controls. Looking at the design closely, there is a roller for volume/playback, paddle buttons, and a custom action key.
Moreover, the Headphone (1) supports USB-C and a 3.5mm jack port, both requiring power to use. It weighs 329g, which falls between the Sony WH-1000XM6 and AirPods Max for portability.
The Headphone (1) Features
Inside the hood, the Headphone (1) is powered by 40mm drivers tuned by KEF, which is said to deliver rich bass, details mids and crisp highs. Of course, adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is available with up to 42dB, alongside transparency and spatial audio head tracking features.
In addition, the sound profile is fully customisable via the Nothing X app, including 8?band EQ, bass enhancer, and personalised controls. Wear detection, Find My Device and low-latency gaming mode are also available, alongside Dual connection support (Google Fast Pair + Microsoft Swift Pair) and Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs.

Nothing said the Headphone (1) can go as long as 80 hours of playback with ANC off or 35 hours with ANC on (AAC mode). A five-minute charge time can provide five hours of playtime, so that's impressive.
Availability in Malaysia
Like the Nothing Phone (3), the Nothing Headphone (1) pre-order will be available in Malaysia on 4 July 2025. Given the global pricing, we can expect the Headphone (1) to easily cost more than ~RM1.2K. Until then, stay tuned for the official news coverage only at TechNave.com.
