We knew something was going on with the rumours of the Nothing Phone (1) popping up quite frequent recently. As expected, Nothing has finally confirmed the smartphone's launch date, and it's 12 July. It will mark the day when we will be seeing the first smartphone from OnePlus' co-founder Carl Pei after leaving the company a while ago.

The brand teased us with a poster that has a big 'phone (1)' wording in dotted lines alongside a slogan 'Return to Instinct'. According to the rumours earlier, the device would come with a clear case which allows users to look at the internals and a flat display. It's also said to get powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip.

Nothing currently only has one product on the market, and it's the Nothing Ear (1) true wireless earbuds. With this new smartphone added to the catalog, we can't wait to see how the company will define its product line to gain a place in the fierce competion. It's worth mentioning that the upcoming Phone (1) is supposed to be a device with an appealing price tag. Maybe it's just like how OnePlus started?
