Today, Nothing has announced the arrival of the Phone (2a) Plus in the Malaysian market. Available in grey and black, only one memory variant (12GB + 256GB) will be on sale at the price of RM1,999.
To recap the tech specs briefly, the Phone (2a) Plus is a mid-range tier device and is the first Android phone to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset. On top of that, it has a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 50MP front camera at the top centre, while the dual rear camera is a 50MP (main) + 50MP (ultrawide) combo. The battery pack is 5,000mAh with 50W fast charging speed.
Besides that, other notable features include Android 14 with ChatGPT integration via Nothing OS 2.6, a new News Reporter Widget, the glyph interface at the rear, an IP54 rating, NFC, stereo speakers, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Overall, it's quite similar to the Phone (2a) but bigger in size.
