Last week, Nothing unveiled its first flagship-level Nothing Phone (3) smartphone. Compared to the other Nothing phones, it has significant design changes that many did not expect. Now, Nothing has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3) is officially available in Malaysia starting today.
Tech specs and features
The Nothing Phone (3) may not have the significantly more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. However, its Snapdragon 8S Gen 4 chipset delivers respectable CPU, GPU, and NPU performance. Malaysia will get two configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage.

For the display, the Nothing Phone (3) will use a 6.67-inch flexible AMOLED. This screen has a 1260x2800 pixel resolution, HDR10+ support, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 1600 nits peak brightness. The battery's capacity is a sizable 5150mAh, which should comfortably last an entire day of moderate usage in a single charge.
As for cameras, the Nothing Phone (3) has not two, not three, but four 50MP cameras. Specifically, there are three rear 50MP cameras (main+ultra-wide+periscope) and one 50MP front selfie camera. The 50MP periscope camera is a nice upgrade for its 3x optical zoom and 60x ultra zoom.

Design changes
The Nothing Phone (3) is a departure from previous Nothing smartphones. The Glyph interface LEDs are gone, and in their place is the new Glyph Matrix display. This is a circular screen with 489 individually addressable micro monochrome LEDs to show a variety of information. For example, it can display caller ID, a contact's profile photo (user-customised), or the different "Glyph Toys" prepared by Nothing.
As you can tell, the Nothing Phone (3) isn't quite like the Nothing Phone (3a) series from earlier this year, nor does it look like last year's Nothing Phone (2). But like it or not, you can't say that it doesn't look unique.

Price and availability
As mentioned, there are two variants of the Nothing Phone (3) in Malaysia. The 12GB+256GB variant is priced at RM3299, while the 16GB+512GB variant costs RM3799.
