Nothing Phone (3a) Series release - SD 7s Gen 3 SoC, 5000mAh battery and 50W charging from ~RM1872

After months of hype, Nothing today officially announced the Nothing Phone (3a) Series for the global market. Comprising the Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, read on to learn more about both devices. 

Both devices share a few similar specs, with the Pro variant sporting a couple of extra features, better cameras and a different design. The shared specs include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, an ‘Essential Key’ button under the power button that’s programmable, IP64 rating, Android 15 via NothingOS 3.1, 3 major OS updates and 6 years of security patches, a 5000mAh battery, 50W charging and a 6.77-inch 120Hz OLED protected by Panda Glass, 1300 nits peak brightness and 10-bit colour depth.

First up, the Phone (3a) Pro is offered in 8/128GB, 8/256GB or 12/256GB variants, though in Malaysia, only a 12/256GB is available. The camera setup is a 50MP shooter at the front, while the rear features a 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 50MP periscope (3x optical zoom). 

It’s offered in either Grey or Black colours, and of course, there’s the iconic Nothing Glyph interface at the rear. In the UK, the Phone (3a) starts at GBP449 or ~RM2556.

Meanwhile, the Phone (3a) features a 32MP selfie shooter at the front and a 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 50MP periscope (2x optical zoom) at the rear. The colour options available are Black, White or Blue, and the memory options are 8/128GB, 8/256GB and 12/256GB, though in Malaysia, only the 12/256GB variant is available.

In the UK, the Phone (3a) starts at GBP329 or ~RM1872. Pricing and availability in Malaysia will be announced by Nothing Malaysia soon.
