Previously, we mentioned Nothing Phone 4(b) was teased by its founder. Today, Nothing confirms the Nothing Phone 4(b) variant will arrive on 7 July 2026. The new phone could feature MediaTek Dimensity 7400 or 7400X, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and cost around RM1100 - RM1600.
A completely new smartphone tier
For your information, the London-based tech company is introducing a completely new smartphone tier to its lineup called the "b" series. Positioned as a more affordable entry point into the company's ecosystem, this new line is designed to deliver the core Nothing experience to a wider audience, particularly younger or first-time users.

According to Nothing, the Phone (4b) will mark the beginning of this new series, focusing on essentials while maintaining the brand's distinct design language. As of right now, local pricing, availability, and detailed hardware specifications for the Malaysian market have not yet been revealed. We expect more teasers and official details to drop as we approach next month's launch date.
To recap, we could expect a return of the Glyph LEDs on the back, along with an Active display or something similar. Personally, we’d like it if Nothing maintained what CMF did by providing expandable storage, but we don’t expect many changes in the cameras or the 6.7-inch display. It’d be nice if there were a bigger battery than 5000 mAh, though. What are your thoughts on the news? Feel free to leave your comments below.
