After teasing the (b) yesterday, Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis said: What does (b) stand for? Nothing. He then proceeded to clarify that it’s their next numbering system, confirming that the Nothing Phone (4b) could be on its way along with other B series devices from Nothing. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details were revealed, but it’s likely to be in between the Nothing A series and CMF devices.

It's simply a continuation of our naming system. Numbers represent generations, while letters indicate different product segments.

What’s the price in between?
Considering that the Nothing Phone 4a is currently priced at RM2199 and the CMF Phone 2 Pro is going for RM999 (previously it was RM1199) we can expect that the upcoming Nothing Phone 4b would likely be around RM1100 to RM1600. Tech specs and features would then follow that price tag, perhaps with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 or 7400X, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

"It's Nothing"
Given the (b) image, we’re fully expecting a return of the Glyph LEDs on the back along with an Active display or something similar. We’d like it if Nothing maintained what CMF did by providing expandable storage but we don’t expect many changes in the cameras or the 6.7-inch display. It’d be nice if there was a bigger battery than 5000 mAh though.
What do you think? Can we expect the Nothing Phone (4b) soon? What tech specs might it have? Share your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com
