Some 1 month after its global release, Nothing Malaysia has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will be launching in our country soon. Taking to its official website, Nothing teased the smartphone’s imminent release in Malaysia, so read on to learn more.
As a refresher, the Phone (2a) Plus is virtually similar to the Phone (2a) but with some notable upgrades. These include a faster chip, the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC; the first smartphone to sport the SoC.
Under the hood, there’s also a 5000mAh battery with support for 50W charging via the USB-C port. Display-wise, it’s a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED with an FHD+ resolution and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 50MP selfie camera.
At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP shooter paired with a 50MP ultra-wide. Other notable specs include Android 14 with ChatGPT integration via Nothing OS 2.6, a new News Reporter Widget, the glyph interface at the rear, an IP54 rating, NFC, stereo speakers, an in-screen fingerprint scanner and colour options of either Metallic Grey or Black.
Those interested in the smartphone can register on the official Nothing Malaysia website here, though a release date has yet to be announced. It’s also noteworthy that only the 12/256GB version of the device will be sold in Malaysia.
