Just a few days ago, we reported that Nothing (the new tech brand by Carl Pei, formerly from OnePlus) has set up a new online store in Shopee Malaysia. We knew it was only a matter of time and it has been officially announced that the Nothing ear (1) will be launching here soon.
According to Nothing Malaysia (lol), the official launching date will be on 13 October 2021. There will be a livestream event hosted by Muaz Malek on his YouTube channel as well as Nothing Shopee Official Store at 12 PM. The company branch also said there will be a giveaway section during the livestream.
To cap the features, Nothing ear (1) features an 11.6mm speaker driver on each side with the sound designed by Teenage Engineering. Teenage Engineering is a Swedish consumer electronics company known for making audio products and usually for audiophiles so on paper, the Ear (1) should be good stuff.
Moreover, you can also find Active Noise Cancellation, Clear Voice Technology and three built-in HD mics. It has an IPX4 rating for sweat and water splash resistance as well. Finally, the wireless earphones can last up to 34 hours of music playback with the charging case.
