If you store a lot of images on your phone, chances are you're familiar with the use of Google Photos to manage them. The app is also great for quick edits like cropping or adding filters. Now, Google thinks it's a good idea to add a chat feature into it as well.
The new feature was announced in a Google blog post and mentions how you can now easily share pictures and videos directly to private conversations in-app. This process of sharing should make it faster than having to send it to another app, providing a more seamless experience. Once sent, the recipient can like, comment or save the image to their own gallery. Expect this update sooner than later, as it's expected to roll out in the next week or so.
