Have you ever wondered how the futuristic humans in Wall-E feel in their comfy self-transporting chairs? Well, the Segway S-Pod isn't quite that advanced but it's as close as you can get. According to TechRadar, the new self-balancing transporter is expected to show up during CES 2020, where we will get to see more of it in action.

Segway is known for making all manner of electric personal transporters and the S-Pod is no different. This two-wheeled transporter supports a large chair that would be able to stay upright even when moving at speeds of up to about 38.6 kilometres per hour. The best part is that it doesn't require you to do any tilting/leaning to change directions or speed. Instead, everything can be controlled using a joystick. This makes it easier for people to pick up and is more comfortable; all they need to do is literally sit back and relax.

Segway has yet to name a price for this fancy moving chair, but mentions that it could be launched in Q3 2020. However, is this actually something you'd be keen to spend your money on? Do let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more CES 2020 coverage.
