Nubia Neo 2 5G will arrive in Malaysia on 22 April 2024

ZTE Malaysia has hinted at the arrival of a mid-range gaming smartphone on its Facebook page which will be launched on 22 April 2024. The smartphone in question is the Nubia Neo 2 5G, featuring a built-in physical shoulder button that is the first in this segment.

For your information, this feature meets the needs of gamers, especially those who like shooting games and action RPGs. The phone has an updated design compared to its predecessor including an octagonal bump that houses the dual-camera setup and mecha-inspired graphics on the rear panel. It will be available in three colour options namely Sunfire Yellow, Frost Silver and Storm Grey.

In addition, the Nubia Neo 2 5G features a larger 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising smooth visuals during gaming sessions. It offers stereo sound with DTS X Ultra surround sound technology, powered by an octa-core chipset clocked at up to 2.7GHz paired with 8GB RAM (expandable up to 20GB) and UFS 3.1 storage up to 256GB.

Moreover, the device packs a large 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging via USB-C, equipped with AI energy-saving technology. Additional features include a fingerprint scanner on the side, a multi-layer heat dissipation structure as well as connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth 5.3.

But it does not end there, the camera lineup includes a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the back, with a 16MP selfie camera housed in the display's punch-hole. Although pricing details have not been announced, pre-orders are expected to start from April 23 to April 27, 2024, with the first 100 orders eligible to receive a free ZTE Bluetooth Earphone. An 18-month warranty is also included with every purchase.
