Nubia Malaysia may have a little quiet for a few months, but it doesn't mean that they aren't doing anything. According to an anonymous user, the company may be importing a brand new Nubia V18 which was recently launched in China and it may actually cost less than RM1k featuring some respectable specifications. Let's check out what else the phone has below.

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocking at 2GHz octa-core, Adreno 506 GPU
  • 4GB of RAM
  • 64GB (expandable memory available up to 128GB)
  • Measure 158.7 x 75.5 x 7.75mm, weighs 170g
  • 6.01-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio
  • 13MP primary camera (PDFA, f/2.2), 8MP (F/2.0)
  • Features dual-SIM (Nano), rear fingerprint sensor
  • Supports 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1
  • Nubia UI 5.1 based on Android Nougat
  • 4000mAh

Based on the tech-specs above, it seems that there will only be one variant model of 64GB. The phone also comes with a screen-to-body ratio of 18:9 and a huge battery pack of 4000mAh. Everything else seems kinda standard but one small nitpick will have to be the operating system, which is still based on Android Nougat.

In the China market, it cost 1299 Yuan only which is roughly around ~RM802 only. When will it arrive in Malaysia? Possibly the end of this month but we shall see. Until then, stay tuned for more Nubia news at TechNave.com.
