OMEN Challenger Series 2019 returns with ~RM208,930 total price pool and a free trip to Europe

If you missed the OMEN Challenger Series last year by HP Malaysia, the tournament is back once again this year featuring Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). Promptly called as the OMEN Challenger Series 2019, the tournament has expanded wider and now includes Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, India, China and new country addition, Taiwan.

Since it's a tournament, that means there will some cash prizes and it totals up to USD 50,000 (~RM208,930). Moreover, the winning team will have an all-paid expense to attend the global eSports tournament in Europe and also, the top teams from each country's Online Qualifiers round will meet up at the Grand Finals in Jakarta, Indonesia this November.

HP isn't stopping there as well, they are also launching an OMEN Campus Legends which is another tournament that is open to colleges and universities' students in the SEA region (Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines) to compete in DotA2 with each other in a prize pool of USD 3000 (~RM12,535).

Lastly, fans and consumers who purchase any participating HP OMEN and Pavilion Gaming laptops will stand a chance to win a lucky draw contest, which is the same free trip to the Grand Finals in Jakarta, Indonesia. Registration for the “OMEN Challenger Series 2019” is now open and teams who are up for the challenge can head over to the official website.
