Today, it has come to our attention that the popular manga/anime franchise - ONE PUNCH MAN - has finally made its way to the smartphone market as a mobile game. The mobile game follows very closely to the original material with some interesting mechanics and if you want to read more about the game before downloading, read on below.
Titled as ONE PUNCH MAN: The Strongest on both the Apple App and Google Play Store, the genre falls into the RPG category with a turned-based mechanic. It seems that you won't just be playing as Saitama (the protagonist) alone but you can build a team of 3 with various characters from the franchise, even the villains and monsters. The campaign mode (or rather the tutorial) follows the same introduction as the anime did and the voiceovers are completely in Japanese with English subtitles at the bottom.

The game file is quite huge (up to 1.4GB on the Apple App StoreApple App Store) and may take a while for the game to pre-load the patches after finishing the downloads. This goes to the tutorial too on learning the mechanics and places to go for recruiting heroes and villains. Of course, you can also expect some microtransaction and in-game items purchase to appear in the mobile game as well.
