Today, we got the chance to have a hands-on experience and first impression on OPPO's 10x lossless zoom camera technology. Initially presented at the MWC 2019 earlier this year, OPPO Malaysia also talked about using the technology in their smartphones in the near future. Although it's not confirmed, they did tease about the OPPO Reno using the feature.

We reported about how the 10x lossless zoom technology works before, but just to give you a summary, it features a triple lens camera structure - main camera, ultra wide-angle and telephoto lens, with an Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) on the first and last lens. The telephoto lens is also using a mini periscope and unique optical prism to reflect light into the lens system. Anyway, you can check out the rest of our photo zoom-in samples below:

From top to bottom, it's the main camera, ultra wide-angle and an upcoming "D-cut" trend telephoto lens. There are also two AF motors for the main and wide-angle lens to save 13% of the space so they can put in a larger sensor on the telephoto lens

So those are the 10x Lossless Zoom photo samples, what do you think? Personally, the camera feature looks great and we didn't experience shakiness when taking photos which is great. Colours may be washed out just a little bit but overall, the details are also quite spot on and we are looking forward to the new OPPO phone using this (RENO*cough). Until then, stay tuned for more OPPO news at TechNave.com.
