Previously, we reported that the OPPO A2 Pro might launch on 15 September and you can now remove the “might” part as the company today confirmed that it is indeed releasing the device on that date. Taking to its official Weibo account, OPPO also revealed the smartphone’s official design and key specs.

Firstly, the A2 Pro will launch in China at 2.30pm on the aforementioned date. Design-wise, it would have a circular camera module at the rear with what looks like a dual-camera setup and has 3 colour options, namely brown, black and purple with leather finishes.

OPPO also claims that the battery is rated to retain more than 80% of its capacity even after 4 years of use. Furthermore, should a user’s battery degrade beyond that, the company will offer a free replacement.
