OPPO has quietly released a new offering in the affordable smartphone market in China, the OPPO A2m. Featuring some compelling specs for a low price, read on to find out more about the device.
The A2m features a 6.56-inch 90Hz LCD panel with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and a peak brightness of 720 nits. Moreover, the display sports a water drop notch housing the 5MP selfie shooter, complementing the single 13MP rear camera.
The A2m is powered by the MediaTek 6020 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Under the hood, there’s also a 5000mAh battery with support for 10W charging via the USB-C port.
Other notable specs include 5G connectivity, dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.3, a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, a single speaker, an IP54 rating and colour options of either Starry Night Black or Flying Frost Purple. The A2m is priced at CNY1499 or ~RM849 for the 6/128GB storage and goes all the way to CNY2099 or ~RM1371 for the top-ranging 12/256GB configuration.
