OPPO A33 release: 6.5-inch 90Hz refresh rate screen and 5,000mAh battery, priced at ~RM673

After adding the OPPO A15 to the A series last week, OPPO has launched another device that has a big screen, all-day battery, and most important of all, budget-friendly as well. The OPPO A33 was announced in India today with some of the impressive tech specs that you can get at a relatively low price.

The OPPO A33 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. For graphics, it comes with the Adreno 610 to deal with that. The device also sports a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD panel with support for a 90Hz refresh rate, making it one of the cheapest smartphones with a high refresh rate in the market now. Besides that, there is a 5,000mAh battery as well that supports an 18W fast charge via the Type-C port.

For photography, the OPPO A33 comes equipped with a triple-camera array that brings a 13MP OV13B main sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 6x digital zoom, followed by a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP mono lens. On the front, there's an 8MP sensor located in the punch-hole cutout. The OPPO A33's fingerprint sensor is located at the bottom right corner of the rear camera module.

Other features of the device include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, microSD card slot, and dual speakers with Dirac’s automatic audio optimization. It will also be running ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 out of the box. The price of the OPPO A33 is at Rs 11,990 (~RM673) and will be available in two colours including Moonlight Black and Mint Cream.
