As mentioned earlier this week, OPPO has launched its latest lower mid-range smartphone in Malaysia. The OPPO A5 Pro comes in two flavours, one with 5G and the other powered by a 4G chipset. Are there any other differences between the two? Find out in the overview below.
According to OPPO, the A5 Pro and A5 Pro 5G are rugged, reliable, and high-performance smartphones for the outdoors. This is thanks to IP69/68/66 water and dust resistance and military-grade shock resistance. Design-wise, both models are the same. However, there are some differences as mentioned. While the OPPO A5 Pro 5G is available in Mocha Brown and Bloom Pink, the OPPO A5 Pro comes in an exclusive Olive Green colour.

Both phones also have different chipsets. The OPPO A5 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 chipset, which is a low mid-range chipset. On the other hand, the OPPO A5 Pro 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset. Besides that, the two phones are largely the same. They both have a 5800mAh battery, a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, and a 50MP main camera. Overall, the two phones should offer excellent value for those who want an affordable mid-range phone.
The OPPO A5 Pro 5G is priced at RM1099 in Malaysia, while the standard OPPO A5 Pro will retail at RM899. There are also some bonuses when you purchase these phones now, so don't miss out if you're interested. Anyway, what do you think of the OPPO A5 Pro and A5 Pro 5G?
