It seems that the OPPO A53 5G has been spotted on Geekbench, hinting that the device will come equipped with a Dimensity 720 chipset, as well as 5G support. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, we do know that the aforementioned device will most likely be unveiled first in China before other markets from a price of RMB1599 (~RM992).
Unlike the non-5G variant, the A53 5G comes equipped with the chipset mentioned above instead of the Snapdragon 460, up to 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM, 6.53-inch FHD+ display, as well as a 3945mAh battery. Camera-wise, it has a 16MP + 2MP + 2MP rear camera while the front has an 8MP selfie camera.
However, do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to fact that OPPO has yet to provide an official statement on the leak.
