OPPO Malaysia on Saturday announced the launch of its latest affordable smartphone segment offering in our country, the OPPO A57 4G. Featuring its iconic OPPO Glow design, the device comes in a Glowing Black and Glowing Green colour options.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a Helio G35 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The A57 also supports up to 4GB of virtual RAM, though it will eat up the rather meagre 64GB of storage.
As for the screen, it is a 6.56-inch LCD display with a HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. In terms of battery, it’s rated at 5000mAh and has support for 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging. OPPO claims that you can fully charge the battery from 0 to 100 percent in just 72 minutes.
In terms of imaging, the A57 sports a 13MP main + 2MP depth dual-camera at its rear which supports Nightscape Mode. As for the front, the 8MP selfie camera is housed inside the teardrop notch of the display and has support for AI Portrait Retouching.
Other notable specs of the device include Ultra-Linear Stereo Speakers, IPX4 water resistance, Android 12 via ColorOS 12.1, 3.55mm audio jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The A57 comes in just one variant of 4/64GB at a price of RM699.
