OPPO has dropped two new A-series devices today. These are basically the same smartphone, but they have a few differences, which led to the company separating them by launching two versions, OPPO A57s and A57e.

Starting with the OPPO A57s, the device gets fueled by MediaTek's Helio G35 SoC paired with a single 4GB/64GB memory configuration. It also packs a 5,000 mAh battery supporting up to 33W fast charging. Above all, there's a 6.56-inch LCD of HD+ resolution. Other features include Panda Glass protection, 8MP selfie camera, dual-camera setup (50MP primary + 2MP monochrome), IP54 rated, NFC, side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3.5mm headphone jack, ultra-linear stereo speakers, Dirac 3.0 audio, and ColorOS 12.1.

On the other hand, as mentioned, the A57e is similar to the A57s. However, it has a 13MP primary camera and comes without stereo speakers or NFC onboard. It also features Bluetooth 5.2 instead of 5.3. You may call the A57e a version of A57 4G with Bluetooth 5.2 and a single 4/64GB memory option.

The OPPO A57s will be available in Starry Black and Sky Blue colour options, but there's no detail regarding the pricing and release schedule yet. Meanwhile, the OPPO A57e will be available in Green and Black, and it's available in India through Flipkart for INR 13,999 (~RM788). It's unknown if the devices will arrive in the local market, but we'll let you know once we receive the latest information.
