OPPO has officially launched the OPPO A6 Pro 5G in Malaysia, setting a new benchmark for the brand’s A-series with a 6500mAh ultra-large battery and rugged durability. It is only available in one memory variant, but before we get to the price, here are the official tech specs and features.

Described as the “most powerful A-series ever,” the 6500mAh high-density graphite battery delivers up to 19 hours of YouTube playback, 37.4 hours of calls, or 42.2 hours of music playback. Engineered to retain over 80% capacity after 1830 cycles (over five years of use), the battery is paired with an 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, enabling a full charge in just 50 minutes.
The phone sports a 6.57-inch 120Hz AMOLED Ultra Bright Display with up to 1400 nits peak brightness, a 93% screen-to-body ratio, and 1080 x 2374 resolution. Backed by ColorOS 15’s Trinity Engine and Luminous Rendering Engine, it ensures fluid animations when multitasking, according to OPPO.
Moreover, AI LinkBoost 3.0 improves connection stability and prioritises online gaming traffic, while an AI Game Antenna prevents grip-based signal blockage. Combined with 4G+ support, users can expect smoother gameplay and faster loading.
Sleek Design and Built Tough
At 8mm thin and 185g, the A6 Pro also blends rugged performance with stylish design. The four-sided bezel measures just 1.67mm at its slimmest, offering a cinema-like viewing experience. The device comes in two colour options: Stellar Blue and Coral Pink.
Continuing OPPO’s emphasis on durability, the A6 Pro incorporates a unibody mid-frame, sealed components, and AGC DT-Star D+ Crystal Shield Glass for extra protection. With IP69 certification and Military-Grade Shock Resistance, it’s designed to withstand water, dust, scratches, and impacts.
Partnerships in Gaming Innovation
The launch also marked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MediaTek and Malaysian eSports team JP Niners Empire, aiming to enhance chipset performance for competitive play and integrate gamer-focused technologies into future OPPO devices. By the way, the A6 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.
