During the end of August, we managed to spot the OPPO A71 being sold for RM858 in some local retail stores. It was really weird at first since there was no official statement from OPPO Malaysia, but today we can tell you that the device is pretty much confirmed as it popped up on its official website for the same price.
As we mentioned before, the A71 features:
- MediaTek MT6750, 1.5GHz octa-core processor, Mali-T860 MP2
- 3GB RAM
- 16GB internal storage (expandable memory up to 256GB)
- Measures 148.1 x 73.8 x 7.6 mm, weighs 137g
- 5.2-inch TFT display in 720p
- 13MP main camera (f/2.2, LED flash, PDAF) | 5MP front camera (f/2.4)
- Features Beauty Mode, dual SIM slot, USB OTG,
- Supports 4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
- Color OS 3.1 based on Android 7.1 Nougat
- 3000mAh battery
According to OPPO Malaysia's website, the phone is only available in black and guarantees a free nationwide delivery, 7-days exchange policy and the RM858 price tag includes GST. To be honest, there's nothing really special about the device but this device is just good enough for anyone who isn't asking for much. If this is what you're looking for with a tight budget, this one can do.
