Updated: It wasn't that long ago when OPPO revealed a new OPPO A74 5G earlier this month. Today, OPPO Malaysia has confirmed that this phone will be making its way to the Malaysian market shortly this week as an online exclusive gadget. It will be available during the company's first regional Super Brand Day with Shopee from 5 - 7 May 2021.
Should the consumers purchase this during the said period, they get to bring home a pair of OPPO Enco Buds wireless earphones. For the record, the first 1000 users who purchase the OPPO A74 5G on Shopee will get the bundle worth RM278. There are other promotions too such as a chance to "Spend & Sure Win" of up to RM550,000, Shopee Pay Rebates when purchasing selected OPPO phones, up to 55% off selected OPPO add-on deals and an exciting prize from a minimum of RM500 in a single checkout.
Technically, there are two variants of the A74 but as the name suggests, we will be getting the 5G model. That also means this phone is sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, which is accompanied by 6GB of RAM + 128GB storage memory capacity. The display measures 6.43-inches that supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The 16MP front camera is on the display as a punch-hole cutout whereas the quad rear camera consists of 48MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth). Last but not least, it has a 5000mAh battery with an 18W fast charging technology.
