OPPO Malaysia today released the OPPO A77 5G in our local market, the latest smartphone in the company’s popular A range. The device features a 6.56-inch 90Hz Colour-Rich Display with 600 nits of max brightness, AI Smart Backlight Mode and 180Hz touch sampling rate.
Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC coupled with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 6GB of RAM and virtual RAM up to 5GB. The A77 5G is also equipped with a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging that can fully charge the device from zero in 70 minutes.
In terms of imaging, the device features a 48MP main + 2MP depth dual-camera at its rear and a 8MP selfie camera at the front. Moreover, thanks to the Dimensity 810 SoC, the device supports Portrait Retouching mode and AI Scene Enhancement.
The A77 5G also has dual speakers and Ultra-linear Stereo Speaker drivers for double the max volume from its predecessor. Other notable specs include IPx4 resistance, Android 12 via ColorOS 12.1, AI System Booster and FlexDrop multi-tasking.
The device is imbued in the OPPO Glow Design finish and available in either Midnight Black and Ocean Blue. The A77 5G is officially available at RM1199 for the sole 6GB (+5GB) +128GB variant. Customers can purchase the device at OPPO's official online store and E-commerce partners like Lazada and Shopee.
