OPPO Malaysia today announced its latest affordable smartphone offering in our country, the OPPO A77s. Featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset under the hood, the smartphone has an Ultra-Slim Retro Design created with a Fibreglass-leather finish and the latest OPPO Glow design.
The A77s sports a 6.56-inch 90Hz LCD Colour-Rich display with a resolution of HD+. It also has a peak brightness of 600 nits and is protected by Panda Glass.
In Malaysia, the device is offered in a singular 8/128GB variant with support for up to 5GB extended RAM by utilising its storage. There’s also a microSD card slot which supports up to 1TB. Powering the A77s is a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge that OPPO says can fully recharge the device from 0 per cent in just 71 minutes.
As for cameras, the A77s has a 50MP main + 2MP monochrome dual-camera setup that has AI and Bokeh Flare Portrait capabilities at its rear. As for the front, the device packs an 8MP selfie camera with support for Selfie HDR mode which OPPO claims can take clear selfies in dimly lit or backlit surroundings.
Other notable specs include dual Ultra-Linear Stereo speakers with DIRAC 3.0, IP54 dust and water resistance, a 3.5mm audio jack, Android 12 via ColorOS 12.1 and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The A77s is available in Sky Blue and Starry Black in Malaysia at a recommended retail price of RM999.
