OPPO A80 5G release - Dimensity 6300 SoC, 120Hz LCD & 5100mAh battery at ~RM1458

OPPO has released a new mid-ranger in the Netherlands, the OPPO A80 5G. Featuring some competitive specs in its class, read to learn more. 

The A80 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Under the hood, there’s also a 5100mAh battery with support for 45W SUPERVOOC charging via the USB-C port.

DIsplay-wise, it’s a 6.67-inch 120Hz LCD with an HD+ resolution, 1000 nits peak brightness and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 8MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is 50MP, which is paired with a secondary 2MP portrait camera. 

Other notable specs include dual SIM, 5G connectivity, a 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, Splash Touch (display usable when wet), ClorOS 14 and colour options of either Black or Purple. In the Netherlands, the A80 5G is priced at EUR299 or ~RM1458, with global availability not yet announced.
