OPPO A96 Malaysia pre-order: SD680 chipset & up to 5GB RAM Expansion, priced at RM1299

Today, OPPO Malaysia has finally unveiled the OPPO A96 in Malaysia. At the price of RM1299, the pre-order for the A96 is now available today until 22 April 2022 with rewards starting from RM498. If you want to know more, read on below. 

As we mentioned before in our previous news, the OPPO A96 features 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also has a RAM Expansion of up to 5GB which is a first in the OPPO A series lineup and users can also take advantage of the microSD card expansion. In addition, it is powered by a Snapdragon 680 4G chipset. 

On the other hand, the OPPO A96 comes with a 5000mAh battery pack that supports a 33W SuperVOOC fast charging technology. According to OPPO, a 30-minute charge can boost the phone up to 55% and users may use the Super Power Saving Mode for long-lasting usage. The OPPO A96 also features Optimized Night Charging, which allows the phone’s AI to learn the user's sleep patterns and schedule a segmented battery charging plan during the nighttime.

Moving on, the phone also sports a 6.59-inch Punch-Hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080p. The refresh rate can be auto-adjusted by OPPO's Adaptive Refresh Rate Technology based on what the user is doing. Other than that, it has a 16MP front camera and a 50MP (main) + 2MP (bokeh) dual rear camera setup.
