Today, OPPO Malaysia has announced the arrival of the OPPO A98 5G for the market. Available for pre-order from today until 18 May 2023, customers can pre-order the phone at RM1399 with gifts worth up to RM377.
Coming in Cool Black and Dreamy Blue, the A98 features a Snapdragon 660 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, a 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD and a 5000mAh battery pack. It's worth mentioning the 8GB Extended RAM, totalling the RAM up to 16GB and you can add in more storage via microSD card up to 1TB. For a mid-range phone, it has a (SuperVOOC) fast charging speed of up to 67W.
With ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13 out of the box, the A98 has a triple rear camera setup with 64MP (main) + 2MP (mono) + 2MP (microscope) setup, whereas the front camera is 32MP. In terms of features, the A98 also has 108MP mode, Ultra Night Mode, AI Portrait and AI Colour Portrait for camera lovers.
