OPPO Ace2 has been launched today featuring a SD865 chipset and 40W wireless fast charging technology

The OPPO Ace2 has finally been launched today if you’ve been waiting for it. Being the successor of OPPO Reno Ace, the Ace2 didn’t disappoint at all with keeping the key features like 65W fast-charging and 90Hz refresh rate screen. Now, let’s find out what the new OPPO Ace2 has to offer!

This time, the OPPO Ace2 packs a powerful Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset that supports 5G connectivity. It is also paired with 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.0 storage to bring better performance. For display, the device sports a 6.5-inch OLED with FHD+ resolution, joined by a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate.

For photography, the OPPO Ace2 comes with a quad-camera setup at the back that includes a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfie, there will be a 16MP front-facing camera as well being placed at the top left corner of the screen.

Other than that, the device also packs a 4000mAh battery that supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast wired charging. There’s another impressive charging technology that comes in a new accessory from OPPO which is called the 40W AirVOOC wireless charger. It is said that the wireless charging pad can offer the Ace2 a full charge cycle in just 56 minutes, and it is being sold separately with the price of 249 Yuan (~RM152).

The OPPO Ace2 offers three colour variants which are purple, grey and silver. For the price, the device starts at 3999 Yuan (~RM2453) for the 8/128GB model, 4399 Yuan (~RM2698) for the 8/256GB model and 4599 (~RM2821) for the 12/256GB model. Unfortunately, there is no official news on its global release yet, so we might have to wait for a while to get the device in our area.
