OPPO has consistently delivered quality audio products, and the OPPO Enco Air4 Pro is no exception. These wireless earbuds are packed with features that cater to a wide range of users, from casual listeners to gamers and fitness enthusiasts. In this review, we'll dive into what makes the OPPO Enco Air4 Pro stand out in a crowded market.

The OPPO Enco Air4 Pro sports a sleek and minimalistic design, with a matte finish that gives it a premium look. The earbuds are lightweight, each weighing just about 4 grams, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The in-ear design provides a snug fit, and the inclusion of multiple ear tip sizes ensures that you can find the perfect fit for your ears.

We are a fan of its shiny design

The earbuds feel confortable and fit snuggly

Design-wise, the charging case is compact and easy to carry, fitting comfortably in your pocket. It has a smooth, rounded shape that feels good in the hand. The case also features a USB-C port for charging, which is always a plus in terms of convenience.

In addition, the OPPO Enco Air4 Pro is equipped with 12.4mm dynamic drivers that deliver clear and balanced sound. The bass is punchy without being overwhelming, while the mids and highs are crisp, providing a well-rounded audio experience. Whether you're listening to music, watching videos, or taking calls, the sound quality remains consistent and clear.

For those who enjoy a more immersive audio experience, the earbuds support high-definition audio formats, ensuring that you can enjoy your music in the best possible quality. One of the standout features of the OPPO Enco Air4 Pro is its Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The ANC does a commendable job of blocking out ambient noise and allows you to focus on your music or calls without distractions. This feature is particularly useful in noisy environments such as public transportation, busy streets, or crowded offices.

It can take quite a while for the case to recharge fully

Clean and simple

Moreover, the earbuds also offer a transparency mode, which lets in ambient sound so you can stay aware of your surroundings when needed. This is handy when you are walking on busy streets or need to have a quick conversation without taking off your earbuds.

If you are curious, the battery life for the OPPO Enco Air4 Pro feels a bit underwhelming in this aspect. On a full charge, OPPO promises up to 9 hours of playback time without ANC and around 7 hours with ANC turned on. Combined with the charging case, you should get up to 30 hours of total playback time.

Based on our experience, the battery only lasted around 3-4 hours of intense usage. Sometimes, it feels like it only takes 2 or 3 times of usage for the case battery to run out of juice. On the other hand, the earbuds support fast charging, providing up to 2 hours of playback with just a 10-minute charge. This is particularly useful for those who are always on the go and need a quick power boost.

Decent call quality

Sometimes, it feels the earbuds run out of battery quite quickly

When it comes to connectivity, the OPPO Enco Air4 Pro uses Bluetooth 5.3, ensuring a stable and strong connection with minimal latency. The low latency mode is a game-changer for gamers, reducing audio lag and enhancing the overall gaming experience. This feature is also beneficial for watching videos, as it ensures that the audio stays perfectly in sync with the visuals.

The earbuds also come with dual-mic AI noise reduction technology, which significantly improves call quality by filtering out background noise. We tested this feature and found the call quality to be quite decent and satisfactory.

Overall, it's a decent earbud

With an IP54 rating, the OPPO Enco Air4 Pro should be resistant to both water and dust. This makes them a solid choice for workouts, outdoor activities, or simply using them in various weather conditions. While they can handle sweat and light rain, it's important to note that they are not fully waterproof, so submerging them in water is not recommended.

The OPPO Enco Air4 Pro is a feature-packed pair of wireless earbuds that offer good value for money. With solid sound quality, effective noise cancellation, and a comfortable fit, these earbuds are a viable choice for anyone looking for an affordable and versatile audio solution. However, for RM499, there are other earbuds in the same price range with better battery life.
