OPPO F7 finally revealed with MediaTek Helio P60 chipset, 25MP front camera and more for RM1399

So it's finally here, OPPO Malaysia has once again come back with another selfie smartphone device called the OPPO F7. With the price tag as RM1399, customers can still pre-order it until tomorrow (20 April) and receive extra goodies which include a gift box (a headphone, a smartphone hardcover and a ring holder) worth RM299, as well as getting the phone for FREE if you happen to be the 7th, 77th, 777th and the 7777th customer.

In addition to the launch, the F7 will be available in every OPPO Concept Store, authorized resellers, the local telcos, as well as their online stores in Lazada, 11Street and Shopee nationwide. Below is the official tech-specs and hands-on pictures:

  • 4GB and 6GB of RAM
  • 64GB and 128GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB)
  • 6.23-inch FHD+ display (19:9 aspect ratio, 2280 x 1080 pixels)
  • 16MP (f/1.8) primary camera, 25MP (f/2.0) Sony IMX 576 front camera
  • Features facial unlock, rear fingerprint sensor, triple SIM card slot (dual nano-SIM & one microSD slot), AR Sticker
  • Supports dual SIM 4G LTE, Bluetooth
  • Color OS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo
  • 3400 mAh battery

Solar Red design! There are currently three colours and four models. For the 64GB model, there are the Moonlight Silver and Solar Red, then for 128GB (which will come at a later date) there are Diamond Black and Sunshine Red model

A rare occurrence, the power button and SIM card tray are located on the right side, whereas the volume buttons are the left

It's still using a microUSB port though, but at least the headphone jack is still around and the speaker grill is placed on the left bottom instead

Also on top of that, don't forget that there will be an OPPO F7 roadshow held in Sunway Pyramid (Orange Concourse) on 21 April 2018 which is the first day sale of the device.
