Sister companies OPPO and OnePlus are in the midst of launching two new foldable smartphones, which may actually be the same device with slight tweaks. We are of course talking about the OPPO Find N3 and OnePlus Open, with the specs of both devices allegedly leaked online recently.

According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, both devices will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Furthermore, the foldable devices will have a 4805mAh battery under the hood with support for 100W wired charging via the USB-C port.

Meanwhile, the foldable display is a 7.82-inch 120Hz OLED with a resolution of 22568 x 2440 pixels. As for the outer display, it’s a 6.31-inch 120Hz OLED with a resolution of 2484 x 1116 pixels, meaning that the same passport-like form factor is retained from the Find N2.

Digital Chat Station further claimed that the front of both devices will feature a 32MP or 20MP front-facing camera. While at the rear, the main camera-setup is a 48MP main + 48MP ultra-wide + 64MP 3x telephoto.

It is widely rumoured that the OnePlus Open is a rebranded version of the OPPO Find N3 for the global market. Of course, do take all of this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet.
