Today, OPPO has finally unveiled the OPPO Find X5 series with new perks. This flagship series is the company's first phone to be powered by MariSilicon X that focuses on advanced camera performance. OPPO also revealed other new gadgets but in this article, we will be taking a look at the Find X5 series.
To start, OPPO seems to be carrying the Find X5 series into a camera-centric driven smartphone. As mentioned earlier, it has a dedicated imaging NPU processor - the MariSilicon X in 6nm designed for top imaging performance. OPPO said it's one of the most powerful AI computing software running an advanced AI noise reduction algorithm, detecting and reducing noise as much as possible.
The triple rear camera consists of a 50MP (main) + 50MP (ultrawide) + 13MP (telephoto) with 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom. Both the main and ultrawide cameras are using the Sony IMX766 sensor with a size of 1/1.56”, 2um large pixel size after binning. Moreover, the Find X5 series features a 4K Ultra Night Video recording and Hasselblad Natural Colour Calibration in Pro Mode which sounds great on paper but is yet to be tested.
Coming in Ceramic White and Glaze Black, the Find X5 Pro features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display in WQHD+ resolution, 100% P3 colour gamut, and a 10-bit panel showing more than 1 billion colours. Of course, it's using a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, alongside a large 5000mAh dual-cell battery supporting an 80W SUPERVOOC flash-charging technology and 50W AIRVOOC technology. OPPO said that the pro model can be charged up to 100% wirelessly in just 47 minutes.

Other notable features include water and dust IP68 resistance rating, ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12. As for the standard Find X5, it features the same tech specs except for the slightly shorter 6.5-inch 120Hz display and 30W AIRVOOC wireless charging technology.
