As advertised, OPPO finally unveiled the Find X8 Ultra in China. It's the ultimate edition of the Find X8 series, but it won't be shipping out globally anytime soon. Without further ado, here are all the official tech specs of the Find X8 Ultra.
To begin, we expected the Find X8 Ultra to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, but it's on another level. OPPO said it is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, built with eight cores and a maximum frequency of 4.32GHz. The memory configuration is no joke either, utilising LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 versions (more on the RAM and storage details later).
The flagship is a big one indeed, with its AMOLED display measuring 6.82 inches with QHD+ (3168 x 1440 pixels) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It is protected by OPPO's own Crystal Shield Glass, and as always, there are over 1 billion 10-bit colours available on it. Its brightness can go up to 1,600 nits peak, while the 32MP front camera is hanging at the top centre of the display.
On the back, OPPO managed to squeeze in not one, not two, but four 50MP sensors for each camera. The quad-camera setup consists of primary, ultrawide, telephoto and ultra-telephoto lenses. There is also another mini sensor, though it functions more of a support role as a 2MP True Chroma camera with a 9-channel multi-spectral system. All the main cameras have OIS except for the ultrawide sensor. Besides using Hasselblad camera technology, it also incorporated a LUMO imaging system. And finally, the flagship is capable of video recording up to 4K 120FPS in Dolby Vision.

In terms of battery, the Find X8 Ultra has a pair of 3,050mAh battery packs, totalling up to 6,100mAh. It supports 100W SUPERVOOC charing, 50W AIRVOOC and 10W Wireless Reverse Charge. Other notable features include IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance rating, SGS five-star drop resistance rating, WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity support, and it runs on ColorOS 15.0 based on Android 15. Of course, it has some AI functions that we are familiar with.
The OPPO Find X8 Ultra is available in Starry Black, Moonlight White and Morning Light, and there are three variants of the Find X8 Ultra, which are:
- 12GB + 256GB - 6,499 Yuan (~RM3.9K)
- 16GB + 512GB - 6,999 Yuan (~RM4.2K)
- 16GB + 1TB (Satellite version) - 7,999 Yuan (~RM4.8K)

OPPO is unlikely to export the Find X8 Ultra out of China, but you can never say never. Until then, stay tuned for more tech-trending news at TechNave.com.
