OPPO Gaming Tournament Season 1 coming soon with prize pool of RM25000


When it comes to mobile eSports, PUBG Mobile continues to be the most popular in the SEA region and another tournament is on the way. Digi, Esports PLayer League (ESPL) and OPPO have partnered up to host an online tournament, with a substantial prize pool of RM25000.

Dubbed the "OPPO Gaming Tournament Season 1", this PUBG Mobile tournament will run from 6 to 12 July 2020. Since we're still under some restrictions under the recovery movement control order (RMCO), the event is online-only and will be managed by ESPL via its online platform. All Malaysians who are aged 12 and above are welcome to join, though there will be a limit of 512 teams for the qualifiers.

Speaking of teams, each team can have up to 5 players (4 starts + 1 substitute). You can freely create your team or join an already created one with openings. There are quite a few rules to go through, so make sure to go through all of them from the tournament's website. Also, registrations are open starting today at ESPL's website but you'll need to create an account first if you don't have one.

  • 2nd - RM2000 and 4x OPPO A92
  • 3rd - RM1000 and 4x OPPO Enco W31
  • 4th - RM1000
  • 5th to 8th - RM500
