The OPPO Reno16 series phones are the only devices showcased by the company last night. At its latest launch event, OPPO also unveiled the OPPO Pad 6 tablet in China. A successor to the OPPO Pad 5 that launched here earlier this year, the OPPO Pad 6 offers some possible upgrades you might want.
Tech specs and features
The OPPO Pad 6 comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, 8GB/12GB/16GB of RAM, and 256GB/512GB of internal storage. In comparison, the OPPO Pad 5 sports a Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset and 8GB of RAM. At a glance, you can tell that the new model delivers greater performance because it has a flagship-class chipset.

On the front, the OPPO Pad 6 features a large 12.1-inch LCD screen, which sounds unimpressive in 2026. However, it still delivers 98% DCI-P3 colour gamut, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 540Hz touch sampling rate, and 900nits of peak brightness. This 3000x2120 resolution screen also supports ZREAL and Dolby Vision.
Both the front and back of the OPPO Pad 6 feature an 8MP camera, a barebones setup since the tablet isn't intended for photography. However, it does have a large 10420mAh battery and six speakers. With its solid display and flagship chipset, you can comfortably play mobile games, stream movies, listen to music, or sketch on this tablet.

The OPPO Pad 6 is out now in China, and you can get the 8GB+256GB variant for 3499 yuan (~RM 2,043). There's also a 12GB+256GB variant for 3899 yuan (~RM 2,276) and a 16GB+512GB variant for 4299 yuan (~RM 2,510).
