OPPO Pad Air 2 release - Helio G99 SoC, 11.35-inch 90Hz LCD and 33W charging from ~RM857

OPPO today released a new mid-range tablet in China, the OPPO Pad Air 2. Featuring some compelling specs at an affordable price range, read on to find out more about the tablet. 

Under the hood, the Pad Air 2 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. There’s also an 8000mAh battery with support for 33W SUPERVOOC charging. via the USB-C port.

Display-wise, it’s an 11.35-inch 90Hz LCD with a 2K resolution and 400 nits of peak brightness. The selfie camera is an 8MP shooter, with the single rear camera also sporting the same resolution. 

Other notable specs include Android 13 via ColorOS 13.2, Dolby Atmos quad stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.2 and a dual-tone finish in either Space Grey or Streamer Silver. In China, the Pad Air 2 is priced starting at CNY1299 or ~RM857 for the base 6/128GB variant while the 8/128GB configuration is CNY1499 or ~RM989 and the top ranging 8/256GB option is CNY1699 or ~RM1121.
