In conjunction with the OPPO Reno11 series launch, OPPO Malaysia also unveiled the OPPO Pad Neo, Enco Buds2 Pro and Air3s (click here to read about the earbuds). We will be focusing on the new tablets by OPPO, which come in two models - the WiFi and LTE variants for RM1199 and RM1399, respectively.
The Pad Neo has an 8000mAh battery pack with a 33W SUPERVOOC charger. Powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, it also has dual 8MP front and rear cameras, an Omnibearing sound field Dolby Atmos quad speakers, and expandable storage options. Both models have 128GB of storage, but the WiFi and LTE use 6GB and 8GB of RAM, respectively.
Starting with the specs, it features an 11.4-inch display with a 7:5 aspect ratio which is similar to a book's size proportion. OPPO has invested a lot into the display with 2408 x 1720 resolution at a density of 260PPI, 96% NTSC colour gamut, and 400 nits peak brightness. To minimize eye fatigue, users can rely on low blue light technology and a Smart Color Temperature Adjustment mode. It's the first display to receive Circadian Friendly and Full Care Display 2.0 certifications from TÜV Rheinland.
The Pad Neo is compatible with a phone if placed side by side to unlock a suite of cross-device features. Speaking of that, the Pad Neo WiFi version has Communication Sharing which allows users to share their phone’s mobile network with the tablet. Meanwhile, Content Sync lets users receive media files in real-time from their phones, and App Relay allows users to pick up and continue tasks between the tablet and phone exactly where they left off.
Customers who purchase the OPPO Pad Neo will receive a free OPPO Pad Neo Smart Case (while stocks last) worth RM99. The Pad Neo is available at all the physical OPPO stores as well as the official online ones.
