As the OPPO R11 started selling today in China, we just spotted that OPPO Malaysia has passed their SIRIM certification and it’s very likely that the phone will be the R11. With that, we think the R11 Plus should also be accompanying its younger brother to Malaysia too soon.
With its original price at 2999 Yuan, it could cost around RM1.8k more or less and it could prove as OPPO’s most successful smartphone yet. According to the source, the new flagship got sold out within 10 minutes from Jingdong.com, also OPPO’s first sale reach 200 million units yesterday. There is also a special red edition for 3199 Yuan (~RM2009), but knowing OPPO, perhaps they will release that after a few months.
The R11 features a Snapdragon 660 processor, a 4GB + 64GB memory capacity, 5.5-inch display in 1080p, a dual 16MP + 20MP camera for the back, a 20MP front camera, 3000 mAh battery, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. The R11 Plus comes with a slight tech-spec variation of 6GB RAM, 6-inch display, and 4000 mAh battery.
