OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition full specs is now official, starting price from ~RM1857

We know we just posted about the official OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition event for China yesterday, but for some reason, they decided to go official on releasing the full specifications as well as the price tags. Most of the speculations turn out to be true, so here's a rundown of the two flagships below:

  • Features Fingerprint sensor, VOOC fast charging, A.I. Smart Beauty,
  • ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo

OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition

  • 6GB of RAM
  • 128GB internal memory (expandable memory available up to 256GB)
  • 6.28-inch OLED Super View Full-Screen display in 2280 x 1080 resolution
  • 16MP (Sony IMX519 sensor) + 20MP dual rear cameras, 20MP front camera (f/2.0)
  • Features Fingerprint sensor, VOOC fast charging, A.I. Smart Beauty, A.I. Wisdom Beauty
  • ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo
  • 3400mAh battery

As mentioned in many of our previous news articles about the R15 series, both phones have achieved a screen-to-body ratio of 19:9 and this covers up 90% of the front. The A.I. Smart Beauty is said to offer users A.I. scene recognition, as well as able to analyse 296 individual facial features for the best portrait mode photo possible. Meanwhile, A.I. Wisdom Beauty is used for enhancing wefie shots.

For the pricing, the R15 is 2999 Yuan (~RM1857) coming in red, white and an uncommon purple model, whereas the R15 Dream Mirror Edition will only be available in Red and Ceramic Black for 3299 Yuan (~RM2042) and 3499 Yuan (~RM2166) respectively.
