On 19 October 2016, the new OPPO R9s will make an appearance in China and it's the official successor to the R9. Invitations were already been sent out to various China media members, showing a new Sony IMX398 sensor indicating that the smartphone is focusing on the camera.
The new camera sensor should be taken note of because it's the world's first smartphone to feature one, we are not sure if the R9s will have dual-pixel camera, but sources have it that it's a 16MP on both the back and front with f/1.7 aperture. Besides that, many media journalists are expecting to see a Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 3010 mAh battery with their trademark VOOC fast charging technology.
All will be revealed soon next week, stay tuned for more news at Technave.com!
