As if the OPPO Reno 10x zoom wasn’t enough, OPPO has announced that the OPPO Reno 2 series with 20x zoom and quad camera setup is due to be unveiled in India on 28 August 2019. Based on the image, it seems to showcase the back of the alleged OPPO Reno 2 complete with the signature ‘Shark Fin’ pop-up camera as well as the quad camera.
The device is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series chipset, 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ display and a 4065mAh battery capacity with support for VOOC fast charging. In terms of the camera sensors, the rear sports a 48MP main sensor + 8MP Ultra-wide angle + 13MP telephoto lens + 2MP monochrome camera.

We could expect OPPO to release a non-20x zoom version of the device as well, just like how OPPO released both the Reno as well as the Reno 10x zoom. There is currently no official Malaysia release date and pricing of the aforementioned smartphone for now.
