OPPO Reno 3 could be in the making after Reno 2 was unveiled not long ago in August. An alleged spec sheet has been spotted on Weibo and we hope it is going to be true. It claims that Reno 3 is going to come with a 90Hz screen, 5G connectivity, and a larger battery.

The device first sports a 6.5” AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen will be made with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and the size is the same as the Reno 2, according to the rumoured specs. The in-display fingerprint sensor will still remain.

For photography, the Reno 3’s cameras will be upgraded with a 60MP Sony IMX686 sensor, a 5x telephoto camera, an ultra wide lens and a black and white sensor. The sensor for the front camera will be a 32MP Samsung Bright GD1 sensor.

Furthermore, Reno 3 will also house a Snapdragon 735 chipset compared to Reno 2 using Snapdragon 730. The chipset will come with a thermal paste and graphite sheet to conduct the heat away. There is also 8GB RAM, 128GB and 256GB of UFS2.1 storage to be included in the device. The battery will be upgraded to 4500mAh and support 30W fast charging. Unfortunately, there will be no wireless charging.

The price of the Reno 3 appeared to be 3299/3599 Yuan (~RM1952.66/RM2130.23) depending on the memory variants. There is no news on when the device is going to be released.
