For a few weeks, we have been writing much about the OPPO Reno 5 series and OPPO just officially announced the released date for the phone. According to the poster, the OPPO Reno 5 Pro+ 5G will be revealed on 24 December 2020 just before Christmas. It should be the last Snapdragon 865 flagship of the year.

In the Reno 5 series lineup, the Reno 5 Pro+ is the newest addition and it's the first time we heard about this phone. With the Snapdragon 865 chipset built-in, it will be the third Reno phone to feature a flagship chipset since the Reno Ace which was announced last year but never came to the Malaysian market. The Reno 5 Pro+ design also matches the Reno 5 and 5 Pro.

The image poster also suggests that the phone will be available in black and gradient blue. There are also four rear cameras which consist of a 50MP (main) + 16MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) and a periscope zoom lens. The 32MP front camera will be a punch hole at the top on the 6.55-inch AMOLED display. It's also said that the display could support up to 90Hz refresh rate and the battery pack is 4500mAh with 65W fast charging technology.

We think OPPO Malaysia might import the Reno 5 series into Malaysia in January 2021 or later, but we shall see. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
